WOW! that's all I can say, wow.

I had no idea what I missed out on by never seeing it on the big screen!!

For those that don't know, I attended the 2nd annual Serenity screening on Friday night. Of course, met new SoCal Browncoats, and was pleasantly surprised to find other Saltgunners in the midst!! I got my wonderful Jayne hat thanks to Tabin, and well, we all know I looked quite cunning. *big grin*

Can't wait to attend a Shindig next....

but first............. Salt Lake City!! with my friends. Mormons of Utah--beware! *laugh*

so we have a radio station (http://www.931jackfm.com/) out here that "plays what they want"
and you can call in and leave messages for them, then they play them on the air....
which is funny as long as it's someone else drunk dialing them, but i digress...
so here's one (call in) i heard that made me giggle...

caller: so jack, say i were to stalk you. um, when would be a good day to do that? cause i'm a very considerate stalker.

I got to the Arclight in LA around 4:30, parked. was walking to the stairs and the guy driving the car past me was Walter from Ugly Betty! met mokibobolink. got inside. got seated. was scoping out the crowd for celebs and such. spotted Jack Black sitting down. did double take *L* and decided it was him.

watched movie. *L* lotsa laughing. so funny! even though i saw previews still didn't figure out who the villain was! so great.

end movie. *looking*looking* someone sets up chairs down in front ... who's coming?!?!?!?!?!
... wait for it.... Quentin Tarantino! comes out to introduce our "special guests"... Edgar Wright! *cheers* and "surprise guests" Simon Pegg! *cheers* and Nick Frost! *cheers*...

Edgar made a funny about the sneak preview on the 7th and how they have like 50 copies of Bad Boys 2 left over, at the end they had Point Break and Bad Boys 2 free for the film goers, but no one took the BB2. "we couldn't give it away for free!!!" *laughter, applause* "so tonight, anyone who asks a question will get a copy of BB2" and he handed most of them out himself! "anyone who asks a really great question gets Point Break!" *laughter, applause*

Q&A. *laughter, applause* various 4:20 jokes from all 3. I'm fidgeting like a wiggle worm. barely able to contain the joy of the sitch. wanted to ask, Can I have your number, Nick or Edgar, whomever (correct usage??) is single. *L*

okay, sorry, had to get a fresh cuppa joe, java, coffee, happy juice? no, that's the kool-aid isn't it? before starting...

1st... Why there shouldn't be mirrors in the ladies powder room? Because upon entering you look at yourself and consequently end up running into the stall door.

2nd.. Example of my craziness? I wore a red and white striped shirt today, with blue undies. So yes, I'm wearin' red, white and blue. How very patriotic of me.

3rd... I came on here, and tattled on myself.

4th.. Hockey? Ducks lost game 4, they were 3-0. Game 5 you ask? It's on Thursday night, that's right Supernatural night. But it's okay, I don't even have the cable channel it's on. So I can just read about it the next day, not like they need me to watch or anything. *sarcasm*

2. on Friday the 20th I'm going to a Buffy/Angel musical episodes sing-a-long at the theater down the street.. *insert more Squee*

3. on Sunday the 22nd I'm going to a taping of the new ABC show Bingo Night. I get some ca$h just for showing up. With a chance to win more--not sure how it works, but being in the audience is half the battle-- *insert crossed fingers, knocking on wood here*
